Nermal The Cat

Old picture of me with a stray cat my family and I took care of and loved--Nermal.

She died about 5 years ago of feline leukemia.

Nermal was the friendliest cat ever, she would go up to random strangers so confidently and happily.  She had a certain bounce to her walk, too, which was adorable.

She use to walk with my younger sister to the bus stop, and enjoyed jumping on the fence, as it was easiest to be pet there.

And I use to like how she smelled. It was a dirty, yet sweet smell, and sometimes when I go to my backyard to refill the bird feeders I smell her smell -- which to me must be from the earth.  I remember she liked rolling in the dirt, lol.

She was such a cute, cool cat. I miss her too.
